Millennium Gardens Wedding Photography | Caitlin & Armen | Plymouth Wedding Photographer

Caitlin & armen marry at plymouth community center’s millenium garden!

Caitlin and Armen’s summer wedding at Millennium Gardens at the Plymouth Community Center was filled with joyful energy, meaningful moments, and heartfelt celebration.

Leading up to the day, the weather forecast hinted at rain—but the storm passed through just in time to gift us a dreamy mix of clouds and sunshine. While the humidity stuck around, it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits—especially not Caitlin’s. Her joy was completely contagious from the moment the day began.

The couple shared their first look in the peaceful gardens, followed by private vows that were sincere, emotional, and full of heart.

The ceremony and reception continued with that same energy. The couple chose to serve their favorite dishes from Holy Land, creating a wedding dinner that felt personal and delicious. The dance floor kicked off with traditional Armenian dances, celebrating Armen’s heritage, and transitioned into an epic live band that kept the party going all night long. Caitlin and Armen were absolutely glowing—dancing, laughing, and soaking in every moment.

Just before the night wrapped up, we snuck outside for some final golden-hour portraits. The air was thick with humidity, but the light was pure magic. A perfect ending to a day.

Their families played a huge role in bringing this day together—every detail felt intentional, thoughtful, and beautifully executed. It was an honor to photograph such a meaningful celebration!

Minneapolis Marriott Southwest Wedding Photography | Katie & Sean | Minnetonka wedding photographer

Katie & Sean are Married!

What a beautiful day! Katie and Sean prayed for good weather for their wedding day this April and the Lord answered in kind. With lots of sun and temperatures in the seventies, they enjoyed their time outdoors for photos!

The girls got ready at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest in the morning listening to Taylor Swift playlist to help get everyone in the wedding day mood! Katie and Sean’s details were so much fun with Kate Spade Wedding cork shoes, lots of colors in her flowers, and Katie’s Lucky Willow tree on the invites. Katie’s bouquet was made of all the flowers collectively of her bridesmaids bouquets! What a beautiful jester.

Katie and Sean decided to wait to see each other until going down the aisle! They said their I do’s at Mount Calvary Church in Excelsior with a church filled with their loved ones! After the ceremony, Katie and Sean both seemed so much more relaxed, finally being able to spend the day together!! Sean’s favorite part of the day was seeing Katie in her lovely dress!

There were important people who were greatly missed for this beautiful day and who were mentioned often in the dinner speeches, Katie’s dad and Sean’s mom. Little things throughout the day were added to make sure they could feel them in more than just spirit. Katie added a surprise charm on Sean’s boutonniere of his mom and Katie herself had charm photos on her bouquet. She also wore a bracelet containing a sapphire from her dad’s gift to her mom on their wedding day.

The reception details were a labor of love and excellently done by the bride and her support team. One of my favorite details back at Marriot Hotel was the seating chart for the guests. Katie made a Mail box wall with personalized letters for each and every guest! AMAZING! The BEST part of the day was seeing this amazing couple go around and serve each table with their dessert. It was important for them to show their appreciation for all their guests and serving them was such a beautiful way to show it.

The rest of the night was filled with laughter and dancing! It was such a wonderful day and I am so thankful to have been a small part of it.

Please enjoy this preview of Katie and Sean’s Wedding Day!

Favorite Wedding Photos of 2017 | Favorites | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

This year has been a blessing! I love sharing my top favorite wedding images of this crazy year of 2017! So for the first part of this post you will see my favorite wedding photos.  Originally I intended this post to be my top 20. As you see there was just too much love and goodness not to share more.
Although this year was wedding packed it wasn't the only thing happening in 2017. So the second part of the post will be my  favorite parts of 2017 from my life!

Ugh these photos still have me keeping a smile on my face! But like I said weddings where not the only thing going on in my life this year. Here are some of my favorites for 2017 in my life.

We bought our first house in 2017. I don't think I ever felt so much a grownup until we bought something that is really ours. We are slowly filling it with memories which I hope keeps filling for a long time! My favorite thing about our house is the living room gets the best view of sunrise. Some of them just take my breath away when I get a change to see them.

Marcus and I got to go to Mt. Rushmore for the FIRST TIME! I was truly in awe of how magnificent it was! Around this time I was just itching for a trip and we jumped in the car the first opportunity we had a 3 day weekend. I love road tripping with Marcus. We just have a fun time listening to music and talking. The Airbnb we stayed at had a corgi which i have been crushing over for the entire year. THEY ARE SO CUTE.

We drove to Iowa to visit Marcus cousin Jessica for a day! This is downtown and while we were there we saw 3 wedding parties and a whole school of prom kids. It was a little crammed but beautiful!

We also got to check off a track on Marcus's NASCAR list! We went to the race at Chicagospeedway. And then we walked around downtown Chicago which I haven't done in years. I totally forgot how big this city is! Besides paying outrageously for parking, we did a found tour which was really enjoyable!

Thanks to my sister Jenny, I was also able to experience some amazing seats at my favorite teams! Not only that I felt like a queen with getting amazing food and hanging out with my sister! I was able to experience my FIRST Wilds game! It was really fun and I would love to go to another one in the near future. Marcus and I need to hit up one that is against and AZ team.

My last time to Texas was in 2011. 6 YEARS since I had been down to see my second family, the Glawes. It had been 2 YEARS since I had seen my forever sister/ BFF/ laughgenerator / high school-sweet-heart/partner-in-crime. Katrina and her family moved to Texas from Minnesota in high school and I think that was truly my first heart break.
She has been up to MN loads of time and it was my turn to surprise her! Thanking the Lord for cheap tickets I hopped on a flight and spent the week with her and my second family. We were driving all over the place, singing Taylor Swift at the top of our lungs, and trying freezy pickle juice for the first time. One of my favorite moments was in the evening when we were all sitting on the couch and her two little boys were praying before bed time. When Carlile's turn came he prayed for Auntie Molly and my heart just melted. UGH SO CUTE! We also got to see sea world and magnolia studios in Waco!
